A FAMILLE ROSE SEAL AND A JADEITE SEAL, 19th/20th century
The jadeite seal of cylindrical form with a domed terminal, carved with the characters Ju Rentang zhi; the famille rose seal of rectangular form, painted to the sides with orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum and plum blossom, moulded with the characters mei hua wu.

TWO BLUE AND WHITE ‘DRAGON’ SNUFF BOTTLES, Late Qing Dynasty
Comprising: a blue and white cylindrical snuff bottle with a wide flat rim painted in the round with a prancing dragon turning to observe a flaming pearl; and a copper red and underglaze blue snuff bottle with two confronting dragons either side of a flaming pearl, one in flight, and the other emerging from the waves below, among flames and clouds. 10cm (3 15/16in) high. A RARE JAPANESE MAKUZU KOZAN VASE, MEIJI ERA, 20TH CENTURY
The pear-shaped body raised on a flared foot, with scrolling handles applied to the shoulder; decorated in an unusual chocolate-brown pudding-stone glaze, the footrim with a stamped Kōzan mark, 17.5cm.
See the British Museum, access. no.1981,0601.1 for a related vase by Kōzan with a similar glaze originally purchased from Sydney L Moss Ltd. Also, see the Carnegie Museum, access. no.2021.12.1.A-.B for another example.

A Japanese kakejiku (hanging scroll painting), with a long kanshi (a Japanese poem written in Classical Chinese) about a youth of immense ambition who strides toward high office rather than enduring humiliation, possessing a spirit that ‘swallows the mountains and rivers’, signed Shoin and ‘a seventy-six year old man’; in a tomobako (wood box) inscribed Goto Shoin and describing the poem as a five-character quatrain in Japanese and Chinese style; together with a Chinese fan painting depicting a snowy landscape, in ink and colour on paper, signed Banyi and dated Gengxu year; 131cm x 28cm and 51cm. Fine Chinese Antique Enamelled Silver Round Box Wen Hua Mark Late Qing Republic
Interesting antique Chinese enamelled silver round box with repousse decoration featuring auspicious bats and dragons chasing after flaming pearls. Stamp to the base is hard to read but it appears to be 文華 ‘Wen Hua’ as far as we can tell. Metal is white where it is scratched and worn around the edges so it doesn’t look to be plated.

Chinese Antique Bleu De Hue Porcelain Bowls Vietnamese Market By Shun Li Kun Ji
Delicate pair of late 19th or early 20th century Chinese ‘Bleu de Hue’ porcelain tea bowls with underglaze blue decoration depicting Buddhist lions playing with brocade balls and ribbons. Each piece has a copper rim and bears typical ‘Shun Li Kun Ji’ mark 順利坤記. Made during the late Qing dynasty for the Vietnamese or possibly even Thai market. Diameter approximately 7.1 cm.

Chinese Vintage Famille Rose Porcelain Vase Figures Early PRoC Mid 20th C 33.5cm
Large vintage Chinese famille rose porcelain vase depicting a scene with figures on one side and inscription with seals on the other. Base marked with apocryphal four-character Qianlong reign mark but made later, around the middle of the 20th century (early PRoC). Beautiful decorative piece. Height: 33.5 cm / 13.2 inches.

Fine Chinese Antique Soapstone Figure of a Standing Luohan 17th-18thC Early Qing
Beautiful antique Chinese soapstone figure of a Luohan dressed in long robes, holding ruyi sceptre in his left hand and his right hand slightly raised in front of his chest. Depicted standing on a rocky base that is carved out of the same stone (not a separate piece attached from underneath). Stylistically consistent with 17th-18th century, early Qing dynasty, examples by artists such as Yang Yuxuan, Wei Rufen or Zhou Bin. Height: 10 cm.

Fine Chinese Antique Enamelled Silver Dishes Late Qing Republic Marked BAO ZHEN
Nice pair of antique Chinese enamelled silver dishes featuring stylized Shou characters in the middle surrounded by bats and cartouches with prunus, peony, lotus and bamboo, symbolizing the four seasons. Each stamped 宝珍 ‘Bao Zhen’. There are no purity marks but judging by the weight and tarnishing likely a higher grade silver. Combined weight: 91.9 grams. Diameter: 8.5 cm.

Large Chinese Antique 19th C Qing Dynasty Flambe Glazed Porcelain Vase Lamped
Really stunning large antique Chinese flambé (a.k.a ‘yao bian’) glazed vase with lovely patterns and colours all around. Judging by the potting likely a later Qing dynasty example. Looks even more impressive in person. Height: 33 cm.

Chinese Antique Bleu De Hue Porcelain Bowl Vietnamese Market Shun Li Kun Ji Mark
Delicate late 19th or early 20th century Chinese ‘Bleu de Hue’ porcelain tea bowl with underglaze blue decoration depicting Buddhist lions playing with brocade balls and ribbons. Fine antique Japanese gilt damascene cigarette case depicting a coiling dragon emerging from the waves and clutching the flaming pearl with Mt Fuji visible in the background. Other side features and intricate landscape scene. No signature but a very nice example of its type.

Charming antique or vintage Japanese Hirado porcelain okimono in the form of a seated puppy with a cloth collar tied in a bow. Very cute piece with a lot of personality. Height: 10.5 cm.

Fine Chinese Antique Bronze Incense Burner With Handles Xuande Mark Qing
Stunning antique Chinese heavily cast bronze (or similar copper alloy) incense burner with pixiu head handles and intricate relief decoration depicting ashtamangala a.k.a. Eight Auspicious Signs (bajixiang). Base marked with apocrpyhal Xuande mark. We couldn’t find one similar to it for reference but judging by the patina likely a Qing dynasty example. Fantastic scholar’s object for a collection! Height: 9.5 cm. Diameter: 14 cm (18 cm handle to handle). Weight approximately 1.55 kg.

Large Chinese Vintage Hardwood Stand For Vase Bowl Incense Burner 20th Century
Interesting large Chinese openwork carved hardwood display stand that can be used for vase, bowl or incense burner. Likely a 20th century example. Diameter: approx. 21 cm, inner diameter between 17.5 and 18 cm (shape slightly oval). Height: 12.5 cm.

Chinese Antique Vintage Black Stone Seal With Inscription Late Qing or Republic
Interesting little antique or vintage Chinese black stone (heavy and cold to touch) seal with very intricate microcalligraphy inscription on one of the sides which we were unable to decipher. Likely a 20th century example. Dimensions: 6×1.8×1.8 cm.

Really nice antique Chinese relief-carved hardwood stand for tripod incense burner featuring central medallion with a yin yang symbol. Possibly late 19th or 20th century example. Diameter: 14.6 cm, distances between the indentations for feet are approx. 10.5 cm, 10.5 cm and 11 cm.
