Exceptional Chinese Republic period porcelain vase decorated with The Eight Horses of Mu Wang, hand-painted in the manner of paintings by Giuseppe Castiglione. Red apocryphal four-character Qianlong mark stamped to the base.

In very good condition with only minor loss of enamels consistent with age and one small chip to the foot as per photographs.
