Unusual Chinese Beijing glass vase decorated in colourful enamels with a scene depicting male and female mythical Fenghuang phoenix birds flying amidst clouds and flowers against a strong yellow background. Vase is shaped as a pouch tied with red ribbon, reminiscent of the famous Qianlong mark and period imperial piece of the same design.
Apocryphal blue four-character Qianlong mark stamped to the base.
Good antique condition with only a minor loss of enamels commensurate with age.
