Stunning Mason’s chinoiserie gilt vase in the Bandana pattern featuring transfer-printed and hand-coloured Foo lions against a gold background. Impressive blue twin handles imitating original Chinese examples. Underglaze blue pseudo Chinese reign mark to the base. Great decorative and highly collectable piece.

Good antique condition with some loss of gilding and enamels consistent with age and usage. One of the handles has been broken off and repaired. Repair is concealed quite nicely. Minor firing faults on the inside. Missing its lid.
