Large Japanese Iro-Nabeshima porcelain charger with elegant and subdued colours. Painted in underglaze blue and overglazed with red, yellow, and green enamels. Pattern based on Edo period examples and created by a technique preserved from generation to generation since the mid-17th century. Signed Imaemon on the back – most probably Imaizumi Imaemon XIII (1926-2001). Comes in its original signed and inscribed tomobako.

In excellent condition as per photographs. Wooden box has some minor splits.
