Impressive Japanese Kutani vase with a warrior and a female figure set against a continuous landscape with numerous floral sprays. Scene is framed by heavily gilded geometric patterns around the neck and foot of the vase. In very good antique condition with some minor age-related surface wear to enamels and gilding. Slightly irregular shape due to difficulty of firing porcelain of this size. Signed to the base.
