Impressive large Japanese bronze champlevé vase in archaistic style with mask handles, low-relief stylized birds and colourful enamelled cartouches featuring chimeras and floral motifs. All set against a honeycomb diaper ground and stamped ‘Made in Japan’ to the base.

Good antique condition with some original pitting to enamels and minor surface marks consistent with age and usage.
