Impressive Chinese Longquan celadon censer of compressed globular form raised on short feet. Plain body is covered in a lustrous glaze with subtle and even crackle extending over the waisted neck and lipped rim and creating a stunning pattern on the inside where the glaze stops short of an unglazed center that oxidized orange during firing. Standing on three feet with unusual partially glazed flat bases.
In very good condition with some characteristic minor firing flaws as per photographs.
