Very fine 19th century Japanese bronze cloisonné charger decorated with sparrows among wisterias and other flowering plants. Central scene is framed by a typical stylized geometric floral border. Beautifully done and highly decorative example.

In good antique condition with only minor loss of enamels on the front. Reverse of the plate has some old enamel loss, tension cracks and dents where it hit something at some point in its life. Complete condition report is available upon request.
