Very rare Japanese Seto porcelain teapot with two hand-painted figural scenes and gilt decoration all around. Signed ‘Kawamoto zo’ to the base and inscribed ‘Shusetsu’ by the handle. Kawamoto Masukichi II was one of the first manufacturers of export porcelain in Seto during the Meiji period.
