Wonderful vintage Japanese Kyoto ware takatori glazed tea caddy (chaire) by Yamakawa Iwao 山川巌. Comes with its original decorative drawstring pouch (shifuku). Marked with impressed oval ‘Iwao’ 巌 mark underneath. Lovely piece for a Japanese tea ceremony.
