Beautiful pair of Japanese Aode Kutani long neck vases decorated with a continuous landcape scene with figures, probably depicting Ariwara no Narihira passing Mount Fuji on his journey to the East. Each marked with a stylized rectangular ‘Fuku’ 福 (happiness or good fortune) mark to the base.

No chips or cracks. Excellent condition with minor flaking to overglaze enamels.
