Absolutely stunning Japanese Meiji period lacquer cabinet decorated all around with finely hand-painted and heavily gilded scenes depicting various auspicious and mythological creatures. Beautifully executed with some fantastic details. Cabinet features 9 drawers, eight of which are behind hinged doors. Comes without a key.

In very good condition for its age with typical surface wear and marks. Back has a tension crack through the middle which is very common for cabinets of this size and doesn’t affect its integrity in any way.
