Beautiful Meiji period sterling silver bowl, chased and embossed with a large blossoming prunus tree on stippled ground. Fine quality example with double wall construction, raised foot and shaped rim. Inscribed ‘Sterling. Arthur & Bond. Yokohama.’ (English company based in Yokohama between 1889 and 1923). In good condition with two shallow dents on the lower half of the body as per photographs.
