Very unique Japanese miniature Satsuma vase of elongated rectangular ‘cong’ form with two finely painted figural scenes framed by gilt honeycomb pattern on a cobalt-blue ground. Signed ‘Kinkozan zo’ 錦光山造 (made by Kinkozan). In very good antique condition with some loss of gilding consistent with age.
