Gorgeous Japanese Kutani oval fluted bowl depicting a procession scene with chariot being pulled by a group of boys (karako). Framed by a heavily gilded border with a profusion of geometric and foliate designs. Marked 九谷製 in iron red underneath.

In excellent condition with some normal small firing imperfections.
