Beautiful antique South Indian (?) bronze (or similar copper alloy) figure of Garuda, the mythical vahana of Lord Vishnu. Depicted kneeling on a circular pierced base with his hands in Anjali Mudra. Great patina and prominent wear all around. Couldn’t find one quite like it for reference but judging by the wear possibly an 18th or 19th century example.
In great condition with typical age-related ritual wear as per photographs.
Height: 8 cm
