Beautiful pair of Chinese coconut shell cups with carved relief decoration and pewter liners. Decoration on each cup is slightly different. First one depicts scene with bamboo, pine, and willow trees among rocky outcrops; second one depicts scene with temple and birds surrounded by bamboo and pine trees.

Both cups are in good antique condition with wear consistent with age and usage. There are some natural imperfections in the coconut shells. One of the cups has small crack just under the rim of its pewter liner.
