Unusual Tantric folk art depicting Hindu god of love Kamadeva riding his parrot vahana Suka and wielding his characteristic bow and arrow. Traditional floral arrow is in this painting replaced by a strange creature facing the hexagram in the top left corner. Parrot is holding a snake in his beak, accompanied by a human skull. There is an unidentified female figure with horns standing to their right that seems to be casting a spell on Kamadeva. Very intriguing piece of Tantric art from Nepal or India.
Painting is in reasonable antique condition consistent with age and usage. There is some creasing and loss of paint as per photographs.
