Interesting antique Khmer brown glazed vessel in the form of a fish. Similar to some animal-shaped lime pots but has a small opening in its mouth, suggesting that it could have been used as a water dropper or a similar vessel. One close example in the collections of the Asian Civilisations Museum, Singapore (object accession no. 1993-01554) is described as a ‘water vessel with incised features that may have been used for sprinkling holy water during rituals’.
