Pair of beautifully detailed Indian miniature paintings on paper with Urdu script and gilt decoration. Both depicting marital scenes from Indian mythology. Miniature illustrations with this amount of detail were traditionally painted using special brushes made of squirrel hair.
Both in good antique condition consistent with age. Minor loss of gouache and gilding as per photographs. Framed and glazed.
