Chinese Famille Rose tea cup decorated with figures from the Wu Shuang Pu (Table of Peerless Heroes) surrounded by numerous inscriptions. Figures depicted are Dongfang Shuo (c. 160 BCE – c. 93 BCE; inscribed Dongfang Manqian 東方曼倩) and Ban Zhao (45- c. 117 CE; inscribed Ban Huiban 班惠班, Cao Daijia 曹大家 – Venerable Madame Cao). Red four-character Daoguang seal mark to the base.

In excellent condition without any chips or cracks (UV checked). Minor rubbing to gilding around the rim.
