Very beautiful Chinese bell-form porcelain mug with finely relief-moulded reserves on a fish-roe underglaze blue diaper ground. Five cartouches with Famille Rose decoration featuring a figural scene with mother and child, floral sprays and lingzhi mushrooms. Scattered between the cartouches are various raised reserves moulded as bats, butterflies and flowers. Mug stands on a relatively tall tapered round foot.
In very good condition for its age with minor loss of overglaze enamels and two very short faint tension hairlines in the glaze where the body of the mug meets the foot.
