Of compressed ovoid form with slightly flared cylindrical neck and raised oval foot. Carved through the purple overlay to a transparent glass ground. Decorated with a finely carved chilong dragon on each side. Original metal-mounted glass stopper simulating precious red coral.
In good antique condition consistent with age and usage. Few very small chips along the upper rim as per photographs.
