Attractive antique Chinese silver vase decorated with a bird perched on a blossoming branch, looking at a pair of butterflies flying above. Base stamped with the mark of retailer Sincere & Co with letter S and Chinese form of their name ‘Xian Shi’ 先施 (short for 先施公司). Between them is the purity mark 90. Mark on the left appears to be character 壎 ‘Xūn’.
Good antique condition with some minor surface marks and slightly misshapen rim but this is not too noticeable.
