Fine 19th century Chinese export painting depicting a maiden in a beautifully detailed silk robe seated behind an openwork carved hardwood table and examining a scroll. Lovely vibrant colours and good condition with some usual signs of age. Surface of the pith paper is slightly warped which gives this painting a very interesting three-dimensional effect. Framed and glazed.
