Charming late 17th century Kangxi period Blanc de Chine joss stick holder in the form of a Buddhist lion (a.k.a. Foo dog), seated on a rectangular plinth and with a ribbon in his jaws. Nice early piece of Dehua export porcelain.

In great condition without any major damage. Very end of the ribbon on the back side of the paw has a tiny chip but this is not noticeable.
