Great 18th century Chinese puce and gold decorated export tea pot based on European form. Unusual moulded construction with seam running through the middle where the two halves have been joined. Fully gilded handle and spout. Missing its lid.

In great condition with usual wear to gold enamels. Short hairline inside the spout, not visible on the outside. UV checked.
