Gorgeous large Japanese jewellery cabinet with an unusual textured lacquer surface, applied gold-leaf floral patterns and hand-painted gilt panel with a bird among chrysanthemums. Featuring two large and six smaller drawers, three of which are behind hinged doors. Really great decorative piece with a lot of character.
In good condition for its age with some surface wear and minor losses typical for well-used cabinets of this period. Missing its lock but the door stays shut when closed. Complete condition report available upon request.
