Stunning antique Japanese Satsuma pottery bowl with shaped rim, depicting a pair of golden pheasants perched on a maple tree. Similar continuous scene is also repeated on the exterior. Marked 神山 ‘Kamiyama’ (or Shinzan) to the base.

Very good antique condition with minimal wear to enamels.
